Geo Coverage

Know how much of the lot you have actually walked

How many units have a recorded position, how fresh those readings are and how precise they were. Then the part that turns a number into an afternoon: the list of vehicles nobody has scanned yet.

Three questions, never one number

Geo Coverage answers three questions: how much of the lot has a recorded position, how fresh those readings are, and how precise they were. A high share of stale or coarse readings is a different problem from a low share of good ones, so they are never averaged into one number.

A position is recorded only when somebody audits or scans a vehicle with the app open, and what it records is where that vehicle was, not where a person went. Coverage measures scans and audits, because those are the only things that record a position. A vehicle nobody has walked past has none, and it is on the walk list rather than missing from the count.

Tomorrow morning's walk

The list of vehicles nobody has scanned yet, grouped by location so it reads as a walk rather than a spreadsheet. Within each location the unit that has been on the lot longest comes first. The list and the count come from the same data, so they cannot disagree.

Precision is shown, not hidden

Every reading keeps the precision the phone reported for it, and coverage shows how the readings split by precision. A lot covered by vague readings does not pass for a lot covered by good ones.

Only the vehicles on the lot

Coverage counts the vehicles in inventory on your lot. A unit still on order or already sold is not on the lot, so it is never counted against the walk, and the list and the count leave it out together.

Questions

Questions about coverage

How do I keep my lot inventory accurate?

Regular lot audits. ProInventory360 lets managers dispatch audits to lot techs, who verify each unit in person and report its location, keys and mileage. The app reconciles their report against the record and flags anything that disagrees, so a moved or missing unit is caught quickly instead of rubber-stamped.

Does ProInventory360 track my employees' location?

No. A position is recorded only when somebody audits or scans a vehicle with the app open, and what it records is where that vehicle was, not where a person went. There is no background tracking, no beacon and no always-on GPS, and nothing follows a vehicle between scans. With the app closed, nothing is recorded at all.
