This page explains where ProInventory360 uses artificial intelligence, what it is sent and where we do not use it. For who operates ProInventory360, see our Privacy Policy.
Where we use AI
- Reading documents you upload: Ford vehicle invoices, Ford order invoices and upfitter invoices. The AI fills in fields such as the VIN, model, prices and upfit details, and transcribes option lines so they can be searched.
- Decoding a VIN typed in by hand, to suggest the model, drive, engine, body and year.
Our AI provider
We use Anthropic. Requests go from the app to our own server, which sends them to Anthropic. The key for Anthropic's service stays on our server and is never sent to your browser.
What is sent
The document you chose, as a whole file, or the VIN you typed. A request may also name the vehicle's VIN or stock number. Nothing else from your account is sent: not your customer and dealer directory, the activity history, locations, notes or user details. If a document you upload shows a person's name, that name is part of the document that is sent.
Checking the results
AI can misread a document. Every value it fills in can be edited at any time, and upfit items created from a scanned invoice are marked "scanned by AI" in the vehicle's history. Check the figures that matter before you rely on them.
Where we do not use AI
Market check, days' supply, Price Review, Feed Integrity, battery maintenance and carrying cost are calculated by fixed rules in our code, not by AI. Scanning a VIN barcode with your camera is read on your device.
