Feed Integrity

What is advertised, checked against what you own

Every night the vehicles listed for sale online are compared against the vehicles actually in your inventory. What disagrees is a row waiting in the morning rather than a surprise in front of a customer.

Three ways a listing goes wrong

Three things come back: units on your lot missing from the listings, listings for VINs you do not have, and listings for units that have already sold. Each one is a buyer who cannot find a vehicle, or a lead on a vehicle you cannot deliver.

We set the feed connection up with you during onboarding, one connection per dealership. It is not something you switch on yourself.

Specifications and figures

The same pass reads the specifications and the figures. A unit advertised as one trim that is a higher trim on its record, or advertised at a value that disagrees with the chassis and upfit you built, comes back as a row to look at.

Customer orders that are not for sale

A vehicle built to a customer's order should not be advertised to anyone else. If its VIN turns up in the listing file, it is flagged, so the listing can come down before another buyer asks about it.

Only the latest file counts

Every check reads only the vehicles in the latest listing file. A VIN that dropped out of an earlier file is not reported as listed, and each flagged row shows when that VIN was first and last in the file.

Found here, fixed at the source

Your listings come from your dealer management system, so Feed Integrity finds the problem and the fix happens where the listing comes from. It does not change a listing or an inventory record on its own.

What does Feed Integrity setup involve?

We set the feed connection up with you during onboarding, one connection per dealership. It is not something you switch on yourself and there is nothing for you to maintain afterward. Once it is running, the comparison happens overnight and the result is waiting in the morning.
